How should I eat it?
Baobab can be used in a number of different ways. The simplest method would be to mix 1 or 2 teaspoons of powder into a glass of water or your favorite fruit juice, mix well and drink!
It can also be added to a number of different foods, for example as a meat or fish marinade.
How much baobab should I eat?
The recommended intake is 10g to 15g of Baobab fruit powder per day. This provides the natural vitamins, nutrients, micro nutrients and minerals as part of a healthy balanced diet.
For those involved in sports or gym workouts, 10g before work out and 10g after a workout can help keep your energy levels up and help you recover.
What does it taste like?
Baobab powder has a pleasant tangy but slightly sweet citrus flavour. It really does make a simple fruit juice more interesting and we have found that it really complements the taste of orange juice extremely well. We prefer all our juices and smoothies with Baobab!
